Look, a whole article on the GOP presidential ticket’s clothing choices. And neither of them are even women!

Was Ryan’s appearance at the announcement of his VP selection in an ill-fitted, baggy suit a strategic choice or just a sign that Ryan doesn’t care about such things? Was the campaign trying to portray him as a midwestern Everyman (who obviously won’t know the first thing about tailoring) in contrast to Romney’s sharp-tailored businessman image? Were they hoping to avoid any repeat of the Sarah Palin wardrobe controversy of 2008? Do you think Mitt and Paul called each other Friday night to talk about what they were wearing to the rally? And how long before Romney publicly endorses Ryan’s clothing choices while insisting he has his own style?

One things for certain. Somewhere this morning, Hillary Clinton is smiling.
