I’m back from a lovely vacation on Cape Cod with lots of family, friends, and beautiful beach weather, but I’m still in full summer vacation mode. Which, in the land of PursuitofStyleness, means thinking about the perfect summer outfit, right down to the perfect shoes.  At nearly eight months pregnant, the perfect shoe has increasingly been a pair of flip flops, mostly because that’s the shoe that fits. But my darling husband, whose feet remain their normal size despite impending parenthood, is feeling a lot more inspired on the shoe front. And who could blame him? Today, he headed to the office sporting his brand new Cole Haan Air Spectators.  Super spiffy on a hot Friday in D.C. and a perfect match to his stylish tan, cotton suit. Not to mention that Air technology gave him an extra spring in his step. Or maybe it was his purple bow tie (sadly, not pictured).  He gets pretty excited about bow ties as well as shoes.
